Hi All,
I have been re-organizing some of our projects and putting shared
code into frameworks. We have, for example, a class called
AbstractPage which is a subclass of WOComponent with some added
functionality. WOBuilder works perfectly if this and other
subclasses are in the current project. But, once we move them out
of the project into a common framework WOBuilder no longer can see
the Application, Session or any of the custom methods and keys in
our "AbstractPage" class. If we simply extend WOComponent
everything is fine.
The application still compiles and runs flawlessly, it's just a
pain loosing the convenience of the "drag-and-drop" behaviour of
the bindings in WOBuilder.
Has anyone else run across this? I searched the archives but
didn't really find any answers.
I'm sure I've seen this, but for some reason I've never really cared
enough to track down the reason. I think I've always just chalked it
up top WOBuilder/WOLips/Eclipse oddities (my current dev config) and
kept going. Deadlines you know. :-)
Will Norris has done some work in that direction however:

File it as a bug if you haven't already done so.
