Subversion in Xcode 1.5 not indicating 'M'

I have recently added subversion to one of my project and running the
svn server on another host (not http).
I can see that the file <username>.pbxuser in the SCM window (SCM ->
SCM in the menus). I can indeed commit this file.
However, if I change any of my classes, it doesn't show up in the SCM
window. I'm missing the 'M' in the project window and can't commit.
Anyone seen this?
