one response. Is this new territory? or just really old?

I'm curious if anyone here has worked with Open Directory remotely
with WebServices and the like. I've started building LDAP into
several WebObjects applications and want to hook into OD. Things like
working with the User records, new records types, etc. Browsing OD in
WorkGroup Manager, and learning about LDAP, have been pretty
fascinating. Initial experiments between my application and OD seem
positive. There's a lot of cool stuff a developer could do. However,
there could be problems with Workgroup Manager displaying modified
records, and services having configuration problems.
