Hi!
I currently fancy developing a framework not that much unlike D2W. Actually I had already developed a framework along thos lines a few years back. Now I have quite a few ideas how to improve upon what I did back then.
One point I would like to improve upon is the configurability of the framework. The original version has a plist per entity where display properties, formats, actions etc. are defined. I consider replacing this by a rule system like the one used by D2W.
Are there any Java based rule engines out there? I don't quite fancy writing one myself.
TIA
Pierre
