Just looking at other options. I currently use Oracle/Solaris with my WO
Apps but I saw this referenced and it looked interesting. I like to know
what options are available; moreover, the concept of having a persistent
store build into the OS has the potential to provide significantly faster
response time. Oracle at one time had an "Oracle OS" that ran on an
appliance, can't remember the exact name of the product but we did test it
out and it was very nice ... very fast.
