Nice job. I'll be adding my site soon.
I used to be a technical writer, so my suggestions follow my strength ...
A few typos on the main page: In the first sentence,
<x-tad-smaller>showcase depository</x-tad-smaller> is a little redundant. I like showcase more.
<x-tad-smaller>reoved</x-tad-smaller> should be removed,
<x-tad-smaller>fasted</x-tad-smaller> should be fastest,
<x-tad-smaller>take</x-tad-smaller> should be taken;
<x-tad-smaller>Sun Microsystems, Inc. and the U.S.</x-tad-smaller> should be *in* the U.S. The sentence "
<x-tad-smaller>Showcase entries posted here are owned by thoses individuals whoever posted them.</x-tad-smaller>" should be rewritten, possibly as "Showcase entries are owned by the individual that made the entry."
On the sign-up page: the description misspells organization as
<x-tad-smaller>oganization</x-tad-smaller>.
The size restriction of the logo seems pretty small. A different layout of the lists could make larger logos of varying size more visually appealing.
Other, *optional* fields could be useful, like a text field to list the developers' names and/or email addresses, public/private/subscription access selector, and profit/non-profit selector. Then again, you might not want them, if you think it doesn't fit the theme and intent of the Showcase.
You could put a link to a form allowing others to send messages to the poster's email address, without disclosing the address. This might protect you a little more, by allowing an angered company to communicate directly with someone who may have posted inappropriately.
If a WO site appears in a typical web search (yahoo, google, etc), would it then be considered fair game for entry into your Showcase? If so, you could quickly populate your database with many more entries, and state that you used publicly available information, obtained from whatever search engine.
Thank you for providing this service to all of us. Good job implementing it.
Nathan
