Unified Documentation Browser

I had a thought previously that AppKiDo (source available: http:// homepage.mac.com/aglee/downloads/appkido.html), if modified appropriately, would make a good unified documentation browser for not only Cocoa as it currently does, but also WebObjects and so forth. Here is a note that I received from the AppKiDo developer in which I thought someone may be interested and take on the javadoc job or offer some help to his project:

From Andy:
I agree a unified browser would be great. I keep wondering when someone will write an AppKiDo for javadocs -- right now I don't have time, to do it at all, and certainly not to do it right. Right now AppKiDo only handles Objective-C docs, and only those whose HTML files are laid out a certain way.

I just started a job where I'm going to have to learn a bunch of new Java stuff. I find reading HTML javadocs is doable, but cumbersome. A good doc browser would be great! A while back I saw a project called Ashkelon that looked interesting, but it hasn't been touched in a while: <http://sourceforge.net/projects/ashkelon/>.
