I know I should probably be using EOGenerator to do this, but I ran

EOModeler. Whenever I go to generate java files, I'm prompted for
a location in a project, asked if I'd like them inserted into the
project, but then told that it was "Unable to write file"
If your WO 5.3 installation was a complete installation rather
than an upgrade installation from WO 5.2, you are likely missing the
template files that EOModeler uses to write EO class files. Look at
the contents of /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/
EOModelWizard.framework/Resources. It should be something like:
$ ls /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/EOModelWizard.framework/Resources
EOClientJavaClass.template EOJavaClassOrig.template
EOImplementationFile.template English.lproj
EOInterfaceFile.template Info-macos.plist
EOJavaClass.template version.plist
If the *.template files are missing, you could copy them from a
WO 5.2 installation. Or if you have a WO 5.2 install disk, these
files can be extracted from the pax archive in WO*Developer.pkg using
the path ./System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/EOModelWizard.framework/
Versions/A/Resources.
