Hi, what books/places to start would you recomend for a
webobjects/java noobie? thanks,
I have them all, but the best is Chuck Hill's.
It's not really intended for those new to WO, much less Java. Start
with Eckle's Thinking In Java, or even Meyer's Object Oriented
Software Construction if you want an OOP primer. Read the stuff on
Apple's website: it's not perfect, but it's a good start.
I'm going to add this to a WO FAQ I've been toying with at http://
www.global-village.net/gvc.webobjects/faq. It's not complete by any
stretch, but I'm committed to expanding it as time goes on. If
anyone has suggestions or even wants to contribute directly (FYI,
it's hosted on a WO app), please contact me.
