I've been trying to get EOModeler to connect to mysql and keep getting the message "Communications failure during handshake. Is there a server running on localhost:3306?"
I can connect to the db using Tomcat using the same driver and settings with no problem. Firewall is off.
Any ideas?
Settings:
Username: <user>
Password: <pass>
URL: jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/<db>
Driver: org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver (I can leave this out with no effect)
Plugin: Mysql (or nothing)
