I am sure that I must have something just not set
correctly. I have EOModeler talking to my postgressql
database just fine. Whilst in EOModeler, I can browse
my tables, update tables, create tables. In short I
know that EOModeler is working.
I have followed the example in the marker book. I am
just at the stage of inserting a row to the backend.
when I press the button to insert my data I get an
error...
IllegalStateException:_obtainOpenChannel.... ....
failed to open database channel. Check your connection
dictionary, adn enfure your database is correctly
configured.
I don't get it. I even downloaded the example from the
authors web site and I get the same results. I can
browse the data in EOModeler.
What should I be looking for. I checked the db logs
and there was no attempt to connect. I was looking for
a bad password or user name.
Any pointers would be helpful.
