(my apologies if this double-posted)

I started with Xcode and used it for about 6 months before moving over
to Eclipse, so I had plenty of time to learn Xcode and get familiar
with it.  Though eclipse does use quite a bit of memory (I haven't had
TOO much trouble running it on a powerbook with 512mb RAM), I find it
to be a MUCH more mature development environment.  It will likely take
a little extra time to get everything setup on the front end, but you
will more than get it back in the long run.  And as Steven mentioned,
if you're running a dual environment, it should make the decision to
use Eclipse all that much simpler.

Xcode2 looks to have a lot of major improvements, though from what I
can tell they appear to be directed more toward desktop application
developers -- ObjC with their new CoreData API.
