JBoss Question with Static Content

Hello -

I still haven't figured this last piece of my puzzle.

I have an images directory say imx in my war. Here is the basic structure

WAR
	imx
	WEB-INF

I am trying to access my images via a relative url, i.e., "/imx/image1.gif". However none of my WebObject pages find it?! However when I just put it into the URL of jboss, localhost:8080/myApp/imx/image1.gif it appears!!!!

What am I missing here? Is it a web.xml issue?
