Hi Ray,

I tried both "Double" and "Decimal Number" as the internal data type
(external type is set to "double" in both cases). With Double, there
were no precision and external scale that could be specified. With
Decimal Number, I specified the precision and external scale to 10.
In both settings, 40.1234 was stored as 40.000000000.

This seems like a pretty basic stuff. I must be missing something
here. Any other ideas?

Thanks for your help.
