hello experts,
i remember 1 or 2 month before someone pointed me to a solution
that has
several highly recommendet features to protect media that is
distributed over
a network.
Tthe idea would be perfect for any future streaming or multimedia
content distribution systems. I am reall looking or something like
this and
i think some other too. Isnt there ANY related opensource topic?
or any related Wonder project?
This is the only this i could get thru the

HyGate Auth Manager
HyGate Auth Manager creates an authentication key based on the
authentication information of the user. It allocates the server with
the smallest load to the user from HyGate Load-Balance Manager.
HyGate Auth Manager operates regardless of any authentication system
used in web server and enables to apply HyGate without modifying the
existing authentication process and web server. HyGate Auth Manager
is configured in Dynamic Load-Balance Module that is provided to
stream player of the user by receiving authentication key creation
module of the user and available streaming server information from
HyGate Load-Balance Manager.
HyGate Illegal-Use Blocking Manager
HyGate Illegal-Use Blocking Manager checks the authentication key
created from HyGate Auth Manager when the user connects to streaming
server.
Illegal-Use Blocking Manager of HyGate classifies whether the user is
authorized through web server by analyzing streaming server request
packet of the user. It will reject the request of streaming server
packet of the user session if the user is found not authorized by web
server. Illegal-Use Blocking Manager of HyGate can accurately
classify the authorized request from the unauthorized request since
it does not use the general IP blocking method.
HyGate is able to prevent the authorized user from saving stream in
the user's computer by recording software in case the user, which
connects to streaming server, uses clients provided by Web Browser or
Service Providers.
HyGate Usage-Tracking Manager
HyGate Usage-Tracking Manager collets and transmits real-time content
usage information of the user to the billing system or statistics
system.
Usage-Tracking Manager of HyGate is able to capture request
information and status information of the user in real-time by
analyzing protocols (MMS, RTSP, PNA) used by the server. It is
possible to receive information through HyGate Usage-Tracking Manager
as follows;
Client IP Client User ID Requested Stream URL
Service Start Time Service End Time Real Service Time Server IP
Transmission Protocol Type
For HyGate Usage-Tracking Manager, it parses the minimum of packet
below 0.1% of the entire packets provided as a service since the
client uses only messages sent to the server. For this reason, HyGate
Usage-Tracking Manager module load does barely occur.
HyGate Load-Balance Manager
HyGate Load-Balance Manager operates efficient load balancing
according to bandwidth of streaming server in cast of operating
several streaming servers.
HyGate Load-Balance Manager provides a mechanism that definitely ends
the existing problem of DNS Round-Robin. HyGate Load-Balance Manager
does not operate Load-Balance by using DNS. It uses a method of
dynamically allocating streaming server IP when the client receives a
response of streaming server URL from web server.
Web server, if requested by the client, interrogates streaming server
IP Address to be allocated to HyGate Load-Balance Manager and
responds streaming server URL to the client by reflecting the result
in URL.
For HyGate Load-Balance Manager, it is possible to find streaming
server with the smallest load among streaming servers in real-time
through the mechanism. It removes streaming server with a problem in
real-time and is able to remove the possibility of clients´ requests
occurring through streaming server with a problem.
is this build from dust ????.....
thanks
marc
