WO very very slow with Tiger

I have just upgraded to Tiger.

Xcode runs very well, and as a previous person has commented, building and running is extremely quick. However, web requests are terribly terribly slow.

I don't seem to be able to track down the problem, as there is nothing much going on in the log.

Any ideas anyone?
