well, after some testing I'm beginning to think it has nothing to do
with WOProject, but rather some bad setup on my machine or a problem
in WO itself.  Here's what I did...

- create new WO project in Xcode
- add new component, "PageWrapper"
- add "title" binding to PageWrapper component using API Editor in WOBuilder
- open Main component in WOBuilder, add PageWrapper as custom
component, and set title binding
- build and run

I'm getting the same error mentioned in my first post.  Can anyone
else tell whether this does or does not work on their system?

Again: my setup is WO 5.2.4 running on Tiger.
