Once you do add your own axis.jar to your project though, I would
give up
using WO's implementation of WebServices -- it seems very primitive
now.
Just use the Axis API as you find it on ws.apache.org. I'm quite
happily
running Web Services via WO today.
I agree with this.
Have used Apache Axis1.2R3 with no problems with WO. Did not use the
WO web services stuff however. I did try, but found it didn't work
well, and tracked the problem to the ancient version of Axis they
were using (I think). I was accessing the NLM Pubmed service (which I
found burdensomely complicated I might add) and could not get WO to
do anything with it at all.
