Thanks for the replies. I have seen on the list that display groups are bad so I should have EOQualified my question! I have just finished implementing the display group browser Deirdre sent, but will now try using raw rows.

I wasn't reading clearly enough earlier -- yes, if you need to get the next 1000 of N-thousand, this is the better answer.
