I have a really basic implementation of JavaMail for sending mail messages that support attachments. That's all it does. None of the other JavaMail stuff is there, but support for attachments is a big improvement over WOMailDelivery.

If you want it I'll make it available for download from:

homepage.mac.com/robertwalker1/FileSharing10.html

It will be called EmailNotifier.zip. If you have any trouble understanding how to use this class please feel free to contact me off-list.

Personally, I find it easier to use the Wonder Framework which wraps
JavaMail quite well. There's an ERMailDeliveryPlainText object that is
really easy to use. An example is here:

Of course, if you deploying your application as a WAR, good luck. The
Wonder frameworks seem to be broken for development/deployment with a
WAR :(

Ciao,
Ricardo
