Before I think about writing my own, is there something like that for
WO? I know about WOTable but I don't believe it supports all the
features that I want but perhaps extending that is an option.

In the past I've used WOBatchNavigationBar, a regular table, WOSortOrder
and a display group for this kind of thing. I think the current vogue,
however, is to use JavaScript for some of this.
