Thanks -- I filed a report for this one and for one when using NOT. It's too bad because the built-in editor has some nice features.

and file a bug report

2) Go to Xcode Prefs > File Types and change eomodeld to use the external editor /Developer/Applications/WebObjects/EOModeler

The Xcode editor is feature incomplete.
