D2W rules for sorting a List

I have a question about rules to sort lists in a custom template.
I recently started to use the D2W framework on a project and wished
to customise templates to embed Lists and Edit pages in my own look
and feel.
I created a custom PageWrapper and used the standard D2WListPage to
create a list, and that worked fine; it showed the correct attributes
and allowed them to be sorted using the standard sort icons.
I then made a Custom template extending D2WListPage to create
MyListTemplate and added this to my rule file setting the
pageConfiguration , pageName to MyListTemplate. I can run this and
it works as expected.
Now I wish to enable the user to sort the list based on one or more
of the properties. I have seen a key "propertyIsSortable" but I do
not know how to use it, can anybody give a sample rule that will
enable me to use this or any other key to sort my list.
