Where exactly does Monitor store data for instances and configuration?
Is this in a file on the individual host that wotaskd uses to launch and
maintain the applications on the specific host? And so Monitor (running
on a different machine) calls each host and asks it what it has
configured and running, and edit that file when changes are made to the
Monitor interface?
We have a case where we have several applications configured on two OSX
boxes and two Solaris boxes. One of the applications (App1) periodically
retrieves a different application (App2).
This is a split install environment with a separate Web server that is
only running the Apache adaptor.
If you go into monitor and click on the individual application links to
the far left of the detail information, 1 our of every 4 times the App2
launches from the App1 links.
I am guessing that the xml files are messed up.
We have actually removed the executables from the servers, and are still
getting App2 coming up.
So if someone could point me to the files wotaskd uses, then I am up for
hand editing them.
Robert
