The editing context has no (null) undo
manager.
At certain control points (at the end
of every row in a table of values), I check if I have more than 200 pending
changes in the editing context. If so, I save changes.
Depending on complexity of the computation,
number of output and input values and CPU load, such compuations may run
up to a full day or so. I see no runaway memory problems.
