Here's the most recent message of a short thread on Apple's Java-dev
mailing list that you who drink the Xcode Kool-Aid may find
interesting and/or helpful.

Same here.
It's nice to see something moving on Xcode's Java side, let's hope
that
the upcoming Xcode 2.3 will finally bring Java native targets.
Out of curiosity, from which Java (1.4 or 1.5) Xcode finds the
symbols?
On my computer with J2SE 5.0 Release 3 developer documentation but NO
developer previews installed it finds only J2SE 1.4 symbols.
The Xcode Documentation window can only deal with one version of
Java at a time. By default, it indexes the current JDK's API
reference, if installed. Since Java 1.4.2 is the current JDK, its
symbols are indexed.
If you want to index the J2SE 5.0 symbols instead, follow the
directions found here:

Hope that helps!
