Hello list!
I use WO5.2.4 on my WinXP sp2 and I have
problem:
when I try to connect to mysql4.1 server from
EOModeler I get error:
Cannot connect to MySQL server on localhost:3306.
Is there a MySQL server running on the machine/port you are trying to connect
to? (java.lang.NumberFormatException)
if I use account with new password cashing
algorithm I get:
Communication failure during handshake. Is there a
server running on localhost:3306?
I have mysql-connector-java-2.0.14-bin.jar in
C:\Apple\Library\Java and corresponding JavaConfig.plist. And another connector
mysql-connector-java-3.1.12-bin.jar in
C:\Apple\Local\Library\WebObjects\Extensions and even in C:\Program
Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_10\lib\ext
I thought that old connector/j should resolve my
problem but it hasn't.
What is wrong?
