I have read the license and I think that it is very clear. There is also a KB article on the topic.

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=302797

If you read the detailed license, any WO 5.3.x onwards application is licensed for deployment on any compatible platform without requiring the purchase of a license.

It doesn't talk about number of sites, users, loads, etc, but does not restrict these in any way. That is no different from other open source licenses.

I don't see any confusion.

It would be very cool if they finally announced what the licensing is going
to like OFFICIALLY. I have heard about a thousand interpretations of the WO
licensing and non of them agree.

GO OPEN SOURCE ASAP!!!!!

Perhaps some of the Apple WO staff could determine how much of the

Someone asked this in the WebObjects Lab today. He was told a public
statement is coming next week or the week after.

Personally, I now am pretty reassured about WO. (I can say that, my personal feelings about things aren't under NDA.)
