Just for fun, I am going to make a few predictions based on reading between the lines and some stuff I heard in the tech media .... let's see how many I am right on when the announcement comes:

1) WebObjects is to be open sourced with Apple WO'ers and iTMS'ers (same people?) on the committers team.
2) Eclipse/WOLips is to become the standard development IDE
3) Apple has added a bunch of Ajax Extensions to the bundled WOComponent library and ajax requests are now officially supported without causing back-tracking problems, etc. (see ajax in action in the AppleStore.woa for example)
4) Project Wonder and WebObjects get married permanently!

Sorry for the off-topic, but I couldn't resist ;-)

Regards, Kieran

They said again this morning that they will make a statement next week, the guy that will write it was on the panel...

The suspense is killing me :-? (er, how about a Select Member pre-announcement on connect.apple.com?!)

Perhaps some of the Apple WO staff could determine how much of the
information announced today at WWDC can be shared with the other list

Someone asked this in the WebObjects Lab today. He was told a public
statement is coming next week or the week after.

Personally, I now am pretty reassured about WO. (I can say that, my personal feelings about things aren't under NDA.)
