Hi Miguel,

We already talked about this in person (the best thing about WWDC is being able to do that! :) but for the benefit of everyone else I'll repeat what I told you: I'm not experienced enough yet to do a best practices doc. That really needs to come from the people who have tried many approaches and have figured out which ones work best. Also, it can be very difficult to get people to agree on what the best practices are; sometimes it is obvious, but other times "best" is not so easy to define.

So I will not take on your suggestion now, but I would love to see someone else tackle this.

Hi!

Let me give you a suggestion: don't stay only on basic stuff.

One of the biggest difficulties I have learning WO is the good practices (how to handle several Editing Contexts, etc) and that cannot be found on simple examples. So, please put some of your experience in there on how to solve those problems! :)

I'll probably be offline for now until August 20 or 21, so... bye! :)

  Yours

In a moment of WWDC-induced enthusiasm (or insanity, depending on your point of view :) I volunteered to write a tutorial for using Eclipse+WOLips to build a small project. Chuck and Mike have agreed to assist.

I can't give any sort of time table; it's dependent on all three of our schedules and I think it's safe to say we are all already overbooked. But I wanted everyone to know that it is coming, hopefully reasonably soon. We have had many discussions this week about the lack of information for new users, and I hope this will help.
