The other IDE

I'm not sure what path our organization is going to take moving forward with WebObjects, I have to get back and discuss what has come out of WWDC. We have looked at both Eclipse and Xcode in the past and found neither to be very friendly for WO development. We have been using IDEA to develop out WO apps for several years and it sleek, very Java friendly and constantly being improved.

Has there been no discussion of creating/porting the WO tools like Entity Modeler to IDEA plugins? I'm sorry I'm not very well versed in the technical requirements to such a project, I'm certain it's not trivial but given that this community is now tasked with developing the future of WebObjects tools and as a result, the future of WebObjects, perhaps we should be looking at this possibility.

I don't suppose anyone from Jetbrains lurks on this list and can offer an opinion.

I know the intelliwo project (https://intelliwo.dev.java.net/) has scratched the surface of IDEA and WebObjects working together, although only at a very simple level of launching WOBuilder from within intellij. But someone must have looked this.

Jeremy
