Since the WO dev tools are now deprecated, and since Apple advises not to develop WO apps with them, is there any point in using Apple Development tools to build WO apps? I'm not a big eclipse/wolips fan, but I suppose I don't have too many choices now, eh?
Deprecated != Gone. Use what you like, but know that deprecated could EVENTUALLY = gone, so you should at least prepare yourself.

And, WO (Deployment) is not included on the new intel-based Xserve alongside Tomcat/JBoss Services.
Not true.

I love WO...but there haven't been any clear declarations about the product for some time, so all I have to go on are Apple's actions regarding WO.
Tools != WO. Future of tools != Future of WO.
