Hello List,
i have WO 5.2.1 on W2K and try to get the EOModeler to work with the MySQL database. I have a local database named "products" so the URL to it is "jdbc:mysql://localhost/products". My WO application can use the model and access the database so i assume both the driver location(in D:/Apple5/Library/Java/mysql-connector- java-3.1.13-bin.jar) and the URL are correct, but the EOModeler doesn't agree. If i for example try to execute "new updated model " i get the following exception:

JDBC connection failed for driver :'org.gjt.mm.mysql.Driver'. Driver not found in Java Runtime! Please verify your CLASSPATH environment variable. The current CLASSPATH for your application is : D:\Apple5\Library\Frameworks\JDBCEOAdaptor.framework\Resources \Java\.;D:\JAVA\LIB;D:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_07\lib\ext \QTJava.zip;D:/Apple5/Library/Java/mysql-connector-java-3.1.13- bin.jar; ...

It seems that the modeler app uses the internal WO's jre which doesn't understand something in mysql-connector-java-3.1.13- bin.jar. Is there any way to get around this problem ?

Thanks very much in advance
Richard
