Hi!
That changed again in 5.3.1! :) Deployment is now free, whatever
the platform is.
Consult the mail-list archives for lots of discussion about this,
including some messages sent by Apple.

Actually, what has changed is the new version WebObjects 5.3 is
free for development on OS X as part of Xcode. You get the
deployment license for free with OS X Server or if you buy an
Xserve which includes the server OS. If you need to deploy to
other platforms or develop on Windows, they are still selling 5.2
for around $700/node. Given how cheap Xserve is compared to an
equivalent Dell server running Linux, I'd suggest considering
running your server farm on Xserves.

Hello
I haven't used a mac or webobjects in about a year and I am
wondering if I should buy a mac mini.
What I would like to do is deploy webobjects to multiple XP
computers running tomcat.
WebObjects is very good at collections in a form and session
issues, much better than ruby on rails.
I have searched the mail lists for december and january
and understand that I am allowed to deploy webobjects anywhere and
that I don't have to pay a license fee.
However can I do this multiple times?
Thank you
