xcodebuild corrupts development builds?

  • Subject: xcodebuild corrupts development builds?

Hi, I developed a project (primarily web service) on MacOS X and it was all building and executing fine (many times).

Then yesterday I built a deployment following the instructions for xcodebuild for split install as per the WebObjects Deployment Guide:

xcodebuild install -configuration Deployment DSTROOT=/

xcodebuild install -configuration WebServer DSTROOT=/

The deployment (on another machine) worked fine too. But since I ran those commands I can no longer build the project on my development machine. It seems to have corrupted something. I just get:

Building target... (1 error)
  JamToolExecution... (1 error)
Command /Developer/Private/jam failed with exit code 1
  Build failed (1 error).

I can't find any documentation or reports on this and have no idea how to fix it. Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks
Cara
