Hello,
Yes you can use it. I love PostgresSQL with
WO.
You will face the following problems, dont get
panic :)
1. you cant import relationships in the DB to
EOModeler.
This could be a feature :) no need for relations in
the DB. keep your relations only in the Model.
2. You will face problems with inserting data in
the DB.
If you can WONDER Project. do that.
otherwise there is another plugin. Search the net
about "_seq WO PostgresSQL" or ask here again.
otherwise Postgres is great and you can create your
DB in the Model and EOModeler creates the SQL 100% correctly for Postgres, which
is not for other databases.

Subject: Newbie question WebObjects and
PostgresQL
Hi,
Im about starting a project using
WebObjects. The database choice has not yet been made. I was wandering if its
possible to use PostgresQL together with WebObjects?
In the WebObjects
documentation, PostgresQL is not listed.
Could someone kindly tells me
if this possible and possibly the pros/cons of using it. Thanks in
advance.
Luc
