HttpServletRequest object needed

Hi List!

Is there a way to reach or create a HttpServletRequest object within a WO App that is NOT running in a servlet or JSP container? I need it for a third party transaction API (for a validation check on a return URL. Or, do I have to make the check at a separate JSP page and then transfer the result to the database or directly to my WO app?
