Hey to all,
we seen these Error on the Console when testing in Eclipse or on the Webobjects Log in Deployment. Sometimes it seem to kill the hole Application, sometimes we just see a little delay. In EOModeler we use the connection
URL :jdbc:mysql://servername/fiery_log?autoReconnect=true.
As far as I understand the discussion at mysql.com the autoReconnect=true parameter should not set to true, because its not save.
But if we don t use these parameter we lost the connection (mostly overnight).

Which parameter do you use ?

Could there by another reason for: java.net.SocketException: broken pipe

Thanks
Frank
(and thank you for all other good answers before)
