mysql 5.x

  • Subject: mysql 5.x

Hi all,

Anyone got any experience with this?  Yes I have read the other messages and I see that FrontBase is a better option etc. etc. but we are already using mySQL and it has been working very well up to now.  However the mySQL on the server has now been upgraded to 5 and we are having a small issue:

A long text block that is stored as a blob is now showing as:

[B@3eb356

This applies to all blobs.  I know it's probably a connector/j issue or something, or perhaps some modification is required to the database itself.  I was wondering if anyone has encountered this before I go trying every possible avenue.

Kind regards,

David.
