php scripts inside WebObjects

Hi,
I would like to integrate some php scripts into my WebObjects application.
More specifically I would like to integrate DevEdit a html editor into my WO application but DevEdit can only be setup via php.
That is I am not planing to interact with php, but merely would like to include php scripts inside a page.

Does anyone know a way how this can be done?
How can I get my WO response post processed by a php engine to resolve the php scripts?
Is there a way to tell Apache to use the php module to post process my WO response?

I am running WO 5.3 on a Unix machine with Apache as the web server.

Any suggestions are welcome.
