Hi there,

I am thinking of upgrading the Java of my system (Powerbook G4) to

I can't remember correctly - but is there any reason for not upgrading to WO5.2.4? It should be safe even if you're deploying with 5.2.3.

Actually my suggestion would be, if you're on Mac OS X 10.4, to upgrade to Xcode 2.3 and develop using WO5.3.1. I'm successfully (and more pleasantly I might add - as Xcode 1.5 was buggy) developing with WO5.3.1, Xcode 2.3 and deploying to WO5.2.4, Java 1.4.2.

Simply set your Java Build settings to use target and source as 1.4 and you're fine. Also just be careful not to refer to the 5.3 api for WO. It all works fine... [this message comes with an implied disclaimer ;-)]

with regards,
