I'm not sure if this was one of the things you were pointing out, but notice how the internetsports.de site uses frames to keep the WebObjects URL from appearing in the location bar (which I believe was part of your original question).

It executes the completely same application, but internetsports is redirected by another provider. There must be some clever redirection used.
