how do i do an alert pop-up? i.e. if someone clicks on a delete which is not allowed, i want to do a window pop-up to alert the user.

JSConfirmPanel

<http://developer.apple.com/documentation/WebObjects/Reference/ WOJExtensions/JSConfirmPanel/chapter_3_section_1.html>

or JSAlertPanel

http://developer.apple.com/documentation/WebObjects/Reference/ WOJExtensions/JSAlertPanel/chapter_2_section_1.html

But if you know that delete is not allowed, why show the button/link at all?
