Forget using this combination for your development machine...
Xcode 2.2.1 with WO 5.2.4
WO 5.2 installer appeared to install succesfully but WO
options would not appear in the new project dialog.
ditto.
Simply install Xcode 2.2.1 with WO5.3.1 on your development machine
and only refer to WO5.2.4 api (in your browser). You'll just need to
keep in mind that Xcode's codesense will suggest additional items
from WO5.3.x. Not a big problem.
Anyway, it's still fine to deploy to a WO5.2.4 based server.
The MacBook Pro is great except I'm now not able to develop legacy
projects built with of Xcode 2.0 with WO 5.2.4. I'm hesitant to
upgrade these projects because they are deployed to Sun production
servers where WO 5.3 is no longer "officially" supported on servers
other than XServe.
As mentioned in my previous email, I'm developing with Xcode 2.2.1/
WO5.3.1 and deploying to WO5.2.4/FreeBSD which was never an
officially supported system...
with regards,
