this can be a little difficult... client receives only HTML, and the
only thing to do is to connect the button to a script that exec the
scanner program, but, well, it WAS possible in windows, using
VBScript, but now i think it's automaticaly blocked (do you realy want
that an html page can access to you program with your user
privileges??)

the only think to do it's import the image after saves it in the pc...
well, maybe if you use a java application on the client to make it
automatically, it's possible, but not through the browser.

The Client use the scanner, not the WebObjcets App running on server.

So you neet to have a Three-Tier Application
