Utility to move files into database

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone knew of a script or utility to automate the copying of documents from the file system into a database. I am looking at moving my documents from the file system to the database now that I have accumulated several thousand. I have been googling, but not coming up with anything helpful. Thanks!
