call me a cop-out, but i think i would just start over with your new project that is working. if your project isn't too huge then it won't take too long to copy your components and resources over - and it's likely to be quicker than trying to debug something like this.

note that as far as i know you can't just drag and drop components from one project to the other in xcode because it does something funny with the .wo's. when shifting components from one project to another i tend to create a new component in the new project with the same component name, and then copy the .api .java and .wo from the old project folder to the new using finder.
