Travis,
Even doing the configure of Apache 2.0.59 this way still executes a
call to /usr/local/apache2/build/libtool with the buggy error of:
libtool: compile: unable to infer tagged configuration
libtool: compile: specify a tag with `--tag'
apxs:Error: Command failed with rc=65536
Just an FYI that all things were solved by explicitly having "CC=gcc"
in the make.config file for the adaptor. Left to its own devices,
having the makefile call cc, the same thing, results in different
libtool behaviour. As yet it doesn't make much sense, but I'm now past
that point on OSX. In the end I built against the DarwinPorts Apache
2.2.3.
Is there any solution here to have the adaptor use a different
libtool? apxs always still uses the Apache one.
