NSTimestamp for EOModels, AFAIK that's the standard choice unless you feel like writing your own custom attribute for a date/time class of your preference. NSTimestamp maps to DATETIME in MySQL for example. Take a look at the ERPrototypes.framework in Project Wonder ....... it has java date/time to SQL mappings for about 5 popular databases.

I'm starting a new data model and got to a field where I need to deal with dates like start date, end date, etc. I realized that I haven't really had to mess with dates much in WO, so I went to search for documentation on handling dates. I have seen 3 or 4 different date classes, and some confusing info on what's deprecated and what's not. I have the docs that were installed on my HD from the dev tools, and searching them with spotlight hasn't turned up much. Can someone point me to the current info on what to use for dates and date calculations in WO5.3.

Is NSTimestamp "the" choice at this point?

Thanks,
Kevin
