Robert, thanks for the doc tip.

This is unfortunately a bit limited for what I needed.
Perhaps I can set up my fetchspec to use a stored procedure with a "Fetch All" operation and then apply a qualifier with my arguments to restrict the set of results?

Jerry,

There is some information here:

http://developer.apple.com/documentation/WebObjects/UsingEOModeler/6WorkingWithEntities/chapter_6_section_5.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/TP30001018-CH206-BABGBCJE

This might answer your questions along with the information in the API for EOUtilities class.

Hello,

I would like to know if I can get a bit of help in understanding how to use stored procedures in WO.

I am running 5.22 on windows and connecting to SQLServer 2000 and Oracle 10g

I have been using WO now for about 10 years and have never had to use a stored procedure.

Basically I have been asked to use a stored procedure to fetch rows instead of a sql query to my SQLServr DB.

I will be passing two parameters (Strings), and expect to return a result set  (array of rows).

The existing query works but the intent is to turn it into a stored procedure.

I looked at the docs and there are couple of methods in EOUtilities that support stored procedures, I kind of get how to setup a stored procedure in the model.

There is even a way to use a stored procedure in a fetchspec in the model, though there does not appear to be any explicit api in a fetchspec to set it up.

Any help would be appreciated.
